Our Classic stud cutter is an indispensable tool for cutting steel studs and rails.
The Classic STD stud cutter is our standard cutting device. It cuts 12 different sizes of studs and rails. No settings are required when switching to a new size. No adjustments are required when switching to a new dimension.
The cutting blades are made of hardened knife steel, laser-cut and then precision-ground. This results in a very high level of quality and precision, which guarantees a long service life. If the cutting blades wear out over time, they can easily be replaced with new ones.
During use, cutting chips are produced and collected in a chip tray underneath. After using the stud cutter, you may need to check if the box of shavings needs to be emptied.

Our Classic stud cutter is built on a frame for a so-called hat profile. It is equipped with mounting holes if you want to secure the scissors to, for example, a workbench or an assembly trolley.
The scissors’ handle features a transport lock, allowing it to be used as a carrying handle when folded down.
A hole punch kit is available for the stud cutter to make holes with a diameter of 30 mm. This folds the tabs in the hole inwards and prevents getting cut on the sharp edges.
On several occasions, we have assisted in designing customer-specific scissors based on either the Profilsax Classic or Profilsax Omni.
